about

Exholiday (originally True Solar Holiday) surfaced in Richmond, VA around 2001 and played dark, moody rock, featuring tightly woven acoustic guitars and the distinct vocals of front man Wil Loyal.

None of their recordings were ever officially released. However, now select songs from their catalog have been mastered and are being made available (some for the first time ever) this year here and with the help of our friends at Exotic Fever Records.

Many if not all of the songs in this collection were written on the front porch pictured in the above photo or inside the house, where several of the members lived on Pine Street in Richmond, VA. Many of the songs were also recorded in this house.
